The Department of Civil Engineering organized an orientation programme for Batch 26 (Fall 2025) on 25th September. The event was graced by the presence of all the faculty members, creating a welcoming atmosphere for the newly admitted students. The session began with an inspiring speech from the Chairperson of the department, Dr. Naimul Haque, who encouraged the freshers to embrace this new academic journey with dedication and enthusiasm. Following this, the academic advisor, Dr. Tawfiq Sarwar, provided valuable guidance on the rules, procedures, and the overall structure of the curriculum, ensuring that students gained a clear understanding of their upcoming academic responsibilities. A lively Q&A session was then held, allowing students to interact directly with the faculty and clarify their concerns. To conclude the programme, the Civil Engineering Club (ECEC) arranged a campus tour, giving the freshers an opportunity to explore the facilities and feel more connected to their new environment. It was definitely an informative and inspiring start to their university life, leaving the students motivated and eager for the journey ahead.
