In 2025, the Civil Engineering Club of East West University undertook a meaningful humanitarian initiative to support families severely affected by seasonal floods in Feni, Bangladesh. The club organized a comprehensive fundraising campaign. Using the funds, successfully implemented key projects, including providing a wheelchair for a special-needs child in South Doulatpur, Phulgazi, and reconstructing two new homes for flood-affected families in Malipathor, Chitholia Parshuram, and South Doulatpur, Fulgazi, Feni. This initiative exemplifies the club’s commitment to social welfare, empathy, and community development, supporting SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
