The Department of Civil Engineering at East West University orchestrated a field survey on 9^th December 2023, for the students enrolled in the “Surveying and Introduction to GIS” course (CE103) in Vadam, Ashulia. Accompanied by 31 students, one faculty member, and two lab officers, the field survey was meticulously supervised. The entire expenditure associated with this survey was generously covered by the university administration.

During the survey, students actively engaged in practical surveying tasks, fostering invaluable experiences aimed at enhancing their comprehension of real-world surveying challenges. These hands-on encounters are expected to significantly contribute to the students' adeptness by clarifying their concepts regarding surveying problems. Furthermore, the exposure gained from this field survey is poised to refine the students' proficiency in utilizing surveying equipment and adeptly tackling practical predicaments typically encountered in professional surveying contexts.
