On 15 May 2026, Team “Cad Commanders” from the Department of Civil Engineering, East West University, achieved the prestigious 2nd Runner-Up position in the “CennoDraft” segment of Cennovation 2026, organized by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Islamic University of Technology (IUT).

Recognized as one of the largest national engineering competitions in Bangladesh, Cennovation 2026 brought together talented engineering students from leading institutions across the country. Team “Cad Commanders” was represented by Yeamin Dewan Abir and Md. Alif Shahriar, both students of Batch 22 from the Department of Civil Engineering, East West University.

Competing against more than 40 teams from renowned institutions, including BUET, RUET, CUET, KUET, SUST, DUET, and IUT, the team demonstrated outstanding creativity, technical proficiency, problem-solving ability, and teamwork throughout the competition.

This remarkable achievement reflects the growing excellence, capability, and potential of the Department of Civil Engineering at East West University. It has brought pride and national recognition to the university while inspiring future engineering students to pursue innovation, leadership, and academic excellence.
