The Department of Civil Engineering, East West University, held an Orientation Program for newly admitted undergraduate students of the 28th Batch on 14 May 2026. The event was chaired by Dr. Naimul Haque, Chairperson and Associate Professor of the Department, while Retired Air Cdre. Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Treasurer of East West University, graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

The program introduced faculty members to the incoming students and provided comprehensive overviews of the curriculum, laboratory facilities, academic regulations, and extracurricular opportunities. Interactive Q&A sessions enabled students to seek guidance on academic procedures, career prospects, internships, and available support services.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, a group photograph, and a campus tour conducted by the East West University Civil Engineering Club. The orientation proved both informative and inspiring, equipping new students with the confidence and motivation to begin their academic journey.
