The Department of Pharmacy, East West University, in collaboration with Popular Pharmaceuticals Ltd., organized a Talent Hunt Program at the university campus on August 19, 2025 to create a bridge between academia and the pharmaceutical industry.

The program began with welcome remarks from Dr. Md. Amirul Islam, Chairperson of the Department of Pharmacy, who emphasized the importance of such initiatives in preparing students for their future professional journeys.

Dr. S. M. Rezaul Ahsan, Director of Human Resources and Administration, Popular Pharmaceuticals Ltd., honored the session as the keynote speaker. In his inspiring speech, he shared valuable insights on how students can present themselves effectively during interviews, focusing on confidence, communication skills, and professional etiquette. He also highlighted the significance of academia–industry collaboration in shaping future leaders of the pharmaceutical sector.

The session continued with an engaging interactive question-and-answer segment, followed by the collection of CVs/resumes from the students, opening doors for potential career opportunities. The presence of faculty members from the Department of Pharmacy and distinguished officials of Popular Pharmaceuticals Ltd. enriched the event.

The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Chowdhury Faiz Hossain, Professor, Department of Pharmacy, East West University, who expressed gratitude to Popular Pharmaceuticals Ltd. for their collaboration and appreciated the enthusiastic involvement of the students.
