Department of Pharmacy organized the 5th Mujib Borsho Distinguished Speaker Seminar on October 22, 2020. Two Distinguished Guest delivered their talk in this webinar. The first guest speaker was Professor Christian Lehmann, Department of Anesthesia, Pain Management & Perioperative Medicine, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada. The title of his talk was “New developments in experimental and clinical intravital microscopy”.

The second guest speaker was Professor Daniel D. Reidpath, Senior Director, Health Systems and Population Studies Division, icddr,b, who joined from Malaysia. The title of his talk was “Building a Research Career and Developing a Research Portfolio.”

Besides these speakers, Prof Sufia Islam, Department of Pharmacy, EWU, also talked on the “Experimental model of sepsis”.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ziaulhaq Mamun, Pro-Vice Chancellor, East West University, was present as Chief Guest of the seminar. The program was presided over by Professor Chowdhury Faiz Hossain, Chairperson of the Department of Pharmacy. All faculty members of the Department of Pharmacy and other departments of EWU were present in the seminar.
