As part of the Mujib Borsho Distinguished Speaker Seminar Series, the Department of Pharmacy organized 2nd webinar on “Drug Development-Theory Vs. Reality” on September 24, 2020. The speaker of the webinar was Murad Husain, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Regulatory Affairs, PTC Therapeutics, New Jersey, USA. PTC Therapeutics is a drug and gene therapy discovery and development Company mainly focusing on rare diseases. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ziaulhaq Mamun, Pro-Vice Chancellor, East West University, was present as Chief Guest of the seminar. The program was presided over by Professor Chowdhury Faiz Hossain, Chairperson of the Department of Pharmacy. All faculty members of the Department of Pharmacy, students, alumni, and many others were present in the seminar.
