The Department of Civil Engineering at East West University successfully organized the Freshers’ Orientation Programme for Batch 27 (Spring 2026) on 8 January 2026. The event was attended by all faculty members, lab officers, and staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment for the newly admitted students.

Members of the East West University Civil Engineering Club (ECEC) warmly welcomed the freshers with flowers and heartfelt greetings, fostering a sense of belonging from the very beginning. The programme commenced with an inspiring address by the Chairperson of the Department, who encouraged the freshers to embrace their academic journey with dedication, integrity, and enthusiasm. This was followed by an informative session conducted by the academic advisors, where students were briefed on academic regulations, curriculum structure, and departmental facilities to help them adapt smoothly to university life.

After that, there was a campus tour guided by East West University Civil Engineering Club (ECEC) members, and the orientation concluded with an engaging presentation from the club, leaving the freshers motivated, confident, and eager to begin their journey in civil engineering.
