The Thesis Defense Presentation for civil engineering students have been held on September 20th, 2023 at Lecture Gallery. Asso. Prof. Dr. Md. Naimul Haque, the chairperson of the Civil Engineering Department presided over the defense program, with valuable contributions from other faculty members. Mr. Ibrahim, Retired Additional Chief Engineer (Planning), DPHE honored the session as an external industry expert and evaluator. Students from different batches were welcomed to experience the defense. A total of 15 students were divided into 4 (Four) groups with research or capstone projects presented their results, with needful analysis and conclusions. The groups were either from the field of structural, environment, transportation, or water resources engineering, etc. The honorable faculty members attentively examined the presentations, analyzed the contributions by insightful questioning and commenting based on the works. The session was concluded by wishing the newly graduated students with good luck and valuable words.
