The Department of Civil Engineering, East West University organized a field survey on 22-03-2023 for the Civil Engineering students enrolled in the “Surveying and Introduction to GIS” course (CE103) in Vadam, Ashulia. Along with the students, one faculty member and three lab officers participated and supervised the field survey. All the expenses regarding this field survey were provided by the university authority. The students performed practical surveying tasks throughout this field survey, and these experiences are expected to help the students to better understand the real-life surveying problems. Additionally, experiences from this field survey should hone the skills of the students in operating surveying equipment and help the students to deal with practical problems related to surveying in professional life.
