The Civil Engineering Department of East West University officially welcomed its latest intake of students for the Spring 2025 semester. This marks the 24th batch of students since the department's inception. This year, nearly 55 students from various districts across Bangladesh have joined the esteemed program.

Following the central orientation organized by East West University, the freshers participated in the departmental orientation, where they were greeted by distinguished faculty members. The event was graced by the presence of Chairperson Dr. Naimul Haque and Professor Dr. Saiful Islam, along with all the present faculty members of the department.

During the orientation, the newly admitted students received insights about their academic journey, departmental guidelines, and the overall learning environment. Faculty members provided valuable advice, on both academic and extracurricular activities.

To familiarize the freshers with their new surroundings, the orientation organizers arranged a campus tour, guiding them through essential locations such as classrooms, laboratories, the library, and other important facilities. The initiative aimed to ease the transition of students into university life and encourage a sense of belonging in the Civil Engineering community.
