The 22^th batch of the Civil Engineering program was warmly received by the Department of Civil Engineering on January 25, 2024. The department along with the help of the ECEC arranged the program. Both faculty and club members extended a warm welcome to the newly admitted students. Freshers were greeted with beautiful flowers following the event commencement at 10:30 AM. The program was hosted by Mr. Arafat Ibna Wohab and Mohammad Robiul Hassan Niloy, who represented the club.

The program kicked off with an overview of the civil engineering department, highlighting the available facilities and introducing the faculty members. Asso. Prof. Dr. Md. Naimul Haque, the esteemed chairperson of the Civil Engineering department, delivered a warmed welcoming speech, offering valuable guidance to the students. Asst. Prof. Dr. Md. Kamruzzaman Talukder welcomed the students with inspiration and instructions. The freshers also took the opportunity to introduce themselves presenting their diverse background. The ECEC committee extended their wishes and invited the freshers to join the club.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Sadik Rahman and Lecturer Md. Rizwane Muztaba Khan led a session of faculty advising, where students received guidance on course selection and other queries. Later, the freshers explored the campus with the assistance of club members, gaining insights into the department. The orientation concluded with refreshments and allowing students to engage with ECEC members for ice breaking and team building.
