Department of Pharmacy, East West University made their vigorous participation at the "2nd International Conference on Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacy Practice and Traditional Medicine" organized by the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka during February 10-11, 2023. One of our M. PHRM students, Mr. Injamam Kabir Tafi gave an erudite poster presentation portraying his undergraduate research titled "Study of antibiotic sensitivity profile of Staphylococcus aureus isolated from nasopharyngeal swab samples of underprivileged school children near East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh" which was complimented highly by the conference attendees. Ms. Sadia Adnin, Ms. Purna Chowdhury, Ms. Samia Zaman and several other students also participated in this scientific session.

Professor Dr. Sufia Islam, Chairperson of the Department of Pharmacy, EWU, adorned one of the session chairs and Dr. Farhana Rizwan, Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacy, EWU  delivered a learned presentation on "Burnout risks in Bangladeshi healthcare-professionals: A multi-center, cross-sectional study" on the second day of the conference.
