The Department of Pharmacy at East West University (EWU) organized a dynamic and welcoming orientation program on February 13, 2025, to greet the new students joining the Spring 2025 semester. The event was held in the presence of distinguished guests, faculty members, and enthusiastic students, marking the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the freshers.

The program was graced by the Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor of EWU, Professor Dr. Mohammad Ashik Mosaddik, who inspired the students with his encouraging words. Professor Dr. Md. Amirul Islam, Chairperson of the Department of Pharmacy, warmly welcomed the newcomers and congratulated them on becoming part of the EWU family.

Renowned academician Dr. Md. Shah Amran, Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Dhaka, shared valuable insights on achieving academic excellence, fostering professional growth, and the importance of lifelong learning. Mr. Abdullah Al-Mamun, a Registered Pharmacist in the USA and an accomplished alumnus of the Department of Pharmacy, EWU, also graced the occasion. He shared his personal experiences and career journey, offering practical guidance to the students on navigating their professional paths.

The faculty members of the Department of Pharmacy introduced the freshers to the various academic programs, scholarship opportunities, extracurricular activities, and university regulations. They emphasized the importance of utilizing the university’s state-of-the-art facilities, including laboratories and the library, to ensure a well-rounded and enriching educational experience.
