The Department of Pharmacy of East West University is honored to announce that Dr. Rejina Afrin, Associate Professor, as the Principal Investigator, in collaboration with Professor Dr. Chowdhury Faiz Hossain, as the Associate Investigator, has been awarded the Special Research Grant 2025–2026 by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

This prestigious funding will support their innovative research project entitled “Evaluation of the Hepatoprotective Effect of Corchorus olitorius (Jute Plant) Leaves Extract and Its Secondary Metabolites in a Mouse Model with Progressive Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease.”
