Achievements Details

Dr. SADIK RAHMAN has been announced as the co-recipient of the National Research Award (2023), along with other peers on 4 December 2023 for outstanding research achievement in the field of Environmental and biological Resource Sector. This is the highest research award of Oman Presented by Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Sultanate of Oman every year for showcasing the pinnacle of Omani academic and research achievements. Dr. Tahere Jafary received the award as the Principal investigator (PI) on behalf of the team for publishing a high-impact article entitled: ‘Novel two-chamber tubular microbial desalination cell for bioelectricity production’ in a distinguished journal of “Desalination”. The aim of this project was to make desalination renewable and sustainable.
