On November 6, 2025, Professor Dr. Md. Fazlul Karim delivered a presentation at the departmental colloquium of Department of MPS. The title of his talk was "Sensitivity of Double-Diffusive Mixed Convection in an Enclosure with a Zigzag Bottom Wall and a Torsionally Oscillating Lid Using Hybrid Nanofluid". 

He presented his research on heat and mass transfer in a zigzag-walled enclosure using hybrid nanofluid under oscillatory conditions. The study combined CFD and ANN approaches, revealing how key parameters influence thermal performance and demonstrating highly accurate predictive modeling. The event highlighted innovative computational techniques for optimizing fluid–thermal systems.
