2ND FIELD SURVEY OF SPRING 2025 SEMESTER, HELD IN BOROITOLA FIELD, AFTABNAGAR, DHAKA.
On 04 May 2025, the Department of Civil Engineering at East West University organized the Second Field Survey of the Spring 2025 semester for students enrolled in the “Surveying and Introduction to GIS” course (CE103/CE7103) Held at Boroitola Field in Aftabnagar. This hands-on learning experience was guided by two dedicated faculty members and supported by four experienced lab officers.
With full financial backing from the university administration, the event underscored East West University’s strong commitment to experiential learning and academic excellence. The field survey offered students a unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, tackling real-world surveying tasks that are essential to their professional development.
Through active participation, students not only deepened their understanding of core surveying concepts but also developed critical technical skills in operating equipment and solving practical challenges. Such exposure is instrumental in preparing future civil engineers to navigate the complexities of modern surveying and GIS applications.
