The Department of Pharmacy, East West University had the privilege of organizing a one-day industrial visit on January 21, 2026, to Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Ltd., one of the leading pharmaceutical industries of Bangladesh. The visit was arranged to enrich students’ practical understanding and to strengthen the connection between academic learning and industrial application.

Under the gracious supervision of our respected faculty members, Professor Dr. Amirul Islam, Chairperson, Dr. Farhana Rizwan, Associate Professor & convenor of ECAC, Dr. Rejina Afrin, Associate Professor, and Md. Jahid Hossain, Lecturer — the students had the opportunity to visit the Production Unit, Solid Dosage Form Section, Quality Assurance Department, and Microbiology Department. Here, they witnessed how cutting-edge analytical precision and innovative formulation strategies come together to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficacy in medicine. By interacting with industry professionals and observing stringent quality assurance protocols, the students developed a deeper appreciation for the discipline and excellence required in the pharmaceutical field, transforming their academic knowledge into a tangible understanding of their future profession.

This exposure to real-world operations, sophisticated quality systems, and innovative research made the visit a memorable and highly educational experience.
