Dr. Md. Sahidul Islam is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Data Science (MDS) at East West University. He received his B.Sc. degree in Mathematics (Pure group) and M.S. in Mathematics (Pure group) from University of Chittagong, Chittagong, Bangladesh. Later, he completed his PhD from Kanazawa University, Japan, with the MEXT scholarship. In his school life, he was engaged in scouting and attended the national scout jamboree.
Mr. Islam was the moderator of East West University telecommunication club. During that time, he arranged seminars and national level contests. Now he is working as moderator of East West University Book Reading Club.
Teaching Experience
1. Now working as an Assistant Professor of mathematics in the Dept. of MDS at East West University from 29/7/ 2024.
2. Worked as a Lecturer to Senior Lecturer of mathematics in the Dept. of MPS at East West University from 9/1/2012 to 28/7/2023.
3. From 19/10/2011to 12/12/2011 worked as a lecturer of mathematics at Uttra Trust College, Uttra. Model Town, Dhaka-1230.
