East West University Civil Engineering Club (ECEC) was honored to collaborate with THE ARCUS 1.0, a regional inter-university civil engineering competition organized by the Department of Civil Engineering and the UIU Association of Civil Engineering Students (ACES) at United International University (UIU) in collaboration with the ACI Student Chapter – IUBAT. Over 300 students from universities across Bangladesh participated in the event. 

Our club proudly contributed four civil engineering teams, EWU Victor, Load Breakers, Trio Bombai, and Kangaroo competing across the Truss, Paper Tower, and Poster segments. They showcased their skills and gained valuable experience through healthy competition and networking. We're glad to share that Team Trio Bombai secured 6th position in the Paper Tower segment. 

We are also proud that Md Taki Tajwar Sir, Senior Lecturer, Department of Civil Engineering, East West University, represented our Department of Civil Engineering and ECEC as a distinguished judge, contributing his expertise to the competition's quality and integrity. Prof. Dr. M. Shamim Z. Bosunia, Professor Emeritus, Department of Civil Engineering, University of Asia Pacific (UAP) was the chief guest of the event.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the organizers of ARCUS for creating such a wonderful platform for future engineers. We look forward to more collaborations and share successes ahead.
