Achievements Details

North South University (NSU) celebrated the 12th anniversary of its Civil and Environmental Engineering Department with Civil Fest 2025 on February 26-27. The two-day event featured a Poster Design Competition, attracting over 33 teams from various universities.

East West Momentum, represented by Yamin Dewan (2024-1-22-044) and Abdullah Mahfuz (2024-1-22-041) from East West university, secured the First Runner-Up position, showcasing innovative ideas and technical expertise. Judges from different areas assessed the teams meticulously to find the best. The award ceremony, held on February 27th, was granted by Emeritus Prof. Dr. Engr. Shamim Z. Basunia, who honored the winners. Distinguished attendees included the Vice Chancellor of NSU, the Chairman of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, and representatives from BSRM Group and City Bank. Civil Fest 2025 provided students with a platform to enhance their skills beyond academics, fostering innovation and collaboration in civil engineering.
