My research focuses on the discovery and development of bioactive compounds from natural sources for the prevention and treatment of human diseases. I am particularly interested in integrating pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, phytochemistry, and computational drug discovery to identify and characterize novel therapeutic agents. My M.Pharm thesis investigated the phytochemical profiling, pharmacological evaluation, and safety assessment of Baccaurea motleyana using integrated in vitro, in vivo, and in silico approaches.

My research interests encompass natural product pharmacology, molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulation, ADMET prediction, toxicological assessment, and mechanism-based drug discovery. A major area of my interest is the exploration of natural products, particularly medicinal mushrooms, as potential therapeutic agents for cancer. I am especially interested in elucidating the molecular mechanisms through which mushroom-derived bioactive compounds regulate autophagy, apoptosis, oxidative stress, and immune responses to inhibit cancer progression and improve therapeutic outcomes. In addition, I investigate the role of natural products in inflammation, wound healing, metabolic disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases.

Through interdisciplinary collaboration, I aim to integrate experimental and computational approaches to accelerate the discovery of safe, effective, and evidence-based therapeutics. My long-term goal is to translate natural bioactive compounds into clinically relevant drug candidates while advancing pharmaceutical research, education, and mentorship
