Shahnaz Siddiqua currently working as a Senior lecturer in Department of Pharmacy in East West University. She joined EWU in January 2020. She completed her B.Pharm from East West University and M.Pharm from North South University. She was working as a "Quality Control Executive" in UK MHRA, TGA Australia and VMD UK approved "Eskayef Pharmaceuticals LTD before starting her teaching career in EWU. She has received Research and Development fellowship for consecutively two times for the years of 2022-2023 and 2021-2022 from the Science and Technology Ministry, The Government of the people's republic of Bangladesh. She achieved V.C. Gold Medal in her post graduation degree and Achieved "Summa Cum Laude" award in her B.Pharm. she worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for one year in East West University. She participated and achieved 1st runners-up position in a conference organized by Department of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka and also achieved 1st runners-up position in First Multidisciplinary International Conference on the Social and Life Sciences by presenting her research project. She attained the conference named ISE SFEC 2018 Dhaka Congress on “Ethnopharmacology & Drug Development: Innovation meets Tradition”. She is enthusiastic and attracted towards research based extensive lab works as she has diversified her research experiences in Microbiology, Phytochemistry and Pharmacology.

1. Black seed (Nigella sativa) powder supplementation prevented oxidative stress and cardiac fibrosis in isoprenaline administered rats
2. Anti-inflammatory and anti- nociceptive activity of ethanol extract of Helitropium indicum against writhing test, cotton pellets and paw edema in male Wister rats and male Swiss albino mice.
3. Resveratrol treatment prevents high fat diet-induced hepatic oxidative stress and the breakdown of the intestinal mucosal barrier and modulates antioxidant and anti-inflammatory gene expressions in rats.
