Ms. Nigar Sultana Tithi is an enthusiastic learner who currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy of East West University. She started her professional journey in the pharmaceutical industry right after she graduated from the University of Dhaka in 2008 and later joined academia in 2012. Her research interests in awareness, risk factors, and clinical practices regarding communicable and non-communicable diseases led her to conduct projects that can improve public health. She has received research funding from the East West University Center for Research and Training. She has also been awarded several scholarships throughout her academic life for brilliant results in her Bachelor of Pharmacy, higher secondary, secondary, and primary school levels through competitive assessments. She is interested in educational quality enhancement initiatives and working as a member of the 'Program Self-Assessment Committee' of the department under IQAC, EWU. She is also a member of various departmental committees involved in curriculum development, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities. Currently, her research projects focus on identifying new drugs from natural sources and finding solutions for drug-resistant microbial infections.
