Dr. Farjana Khatun is an experienced academic and early-career researcher in the field of synthetic chemistry and computational chemistry.
Dr. Khatun started her academic career as a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy, EWU in 2011. Over the years, she has been contributing to the department in the development of curriculum and research endeavors. In addition, she currently serves as the convener of Molecular Simulation Committee and is a dedicated member of the Graduate In-plant Training Program Committee, Department of Pharmacy, EWU.
Dr. Khatun's expertise extends to a wide range of areas in the field of chemistry and immunology. Her experience encompasses synthetic vaccine design, the synthesis of carbohydrate and peptide molecules, as well as conducting immunological activity screening in animal models. Furthermore, she is well-versed in various analytical methods. Her dedication to research is evident through her publication record in peer-reviewed international journals. Additionally, Dr. Khatun has contributed to the academic community by serving as a manuscript reviewer for both national and international journals.
