Achievement Details

Dr. Shamsun Nahar Khan, Professor Department of Pharmacy, has been honored as an “Invited Speaker” in the BCSIR Congress-2023 (08-10 March 2024), organized by Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR). Dr. Khan’s talk was entitled as “Insight into Corona Virus Infection and the Pattern of Post Covid-19 Sequela.” The session Chair was the eminent scientist and Professor. Dr. C Rafiqul Ahsan, department of Microbiology, University of Dhaka. 

Chief Patron of the BCSIR Congress was Architect Yeafesh Osman, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The president of the conference was the Chairman of BCSIR.

The theme lecture was delivered by Theme Lecture by Nobel Laureate Professor Dr. Yoshinori Ohsumi, Head of the Cell Biology Research Unit, Institute of Innovative Research, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan.

There are plenary lectures delivered by eminent scientists from all over the world e.g. Professor Dr. Nobuo N. Noda, Institute for Genetic Medicine, Hokkaido University, Japan, Emeritus Professor Dr. Makoto Ubukata, Graduate School of Agriculture, Hokkaido University, Japan, Professor Dr. Calum J.
