Nazia Ahmed is a Lecturer of Physics in the Department of Mathematical & Physical Sciences at East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She earned her B.Sc. in 2016 and M. S. in 2017 in Physics from the Department of Physics, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. During her MS program, she worked on Plasma Physics and analyzed the properties of linear and nonlinear waves in different plasma systems. she was awarded the National Science & Technology Fellowship for her M.Sc. research in 2017. After completing her MS degree, she began her teaching career as a Lecturer in Physics at Sonargaon University in Bangladesh in January 2018.
She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Biophysics at the Department of Physics, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Her present research interests are Membrane Biophysics (Experimental) including Protein-Lipid interactions, Micropipette Aspiration Technique, Electroporation etc.
