Dr. Nasima Akter Mukta earned her PhD in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Dhaka. Her doctoral research focused on the preparation of electrospun core-sheath nanofibers from poly(lactic acid)-collagen polymers and their biomedical applications. Dr. Nasima's research interests include polymer, food, and natural product chemistry. Daffodil International University has recognized her for her scholarly publications in SCOPUS-indexed journals (2020, 2021). Dr. Nasima began her academic career in 2015, teaching chemistry-related courses. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical and Physical Sciences at East West University. She has been actively involved in curriculum development, supervising project students, and leading student engagement in co-curricular activities. She was also awarded the Head's Award for teaching excellence in 2020 (by Daffodil International University). Additionally, she was commended by Daffodil International University for her contribution to a strategic model of comprehensive excellence and multi-assessment. approaches.
