Dr. Md. Mongur Hossain specializes in the synthesis and characterization of two-dimensional (2D) materials, particularly transition metal dichalcogenides. He earned his Ph.D. in Nanoscience and Technology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, specializing in 2D materials. He conducted over four years of postdoctoral research at leading institutions in China and Germany.
Dr. Hossain has published 21 SCI-indexed articles with 894 citations (Google Scholar, November 2024). His current research interests include 2D materials and nanostructures for energy, environmental, and electronic applications.
