His academic training and research experience are primarily focused on Mathematical Modeling, Fluid Dynamics, Coastal Hydrodynamics, Internal Waves, Environmental Systems, and Numerical Simulation.
Md. Sulaiman is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Data Science at East West University, Bangladesh. He holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Rajshahi, where he achieved outstanding academic results in both degrees. His academic and research interests include mathematical modeling, fluid dynamics, coastal hydrodynamics, internal waves, environmental systems, and numerical simulation.
Before joining East West University, he served as a Senior Fellow of Mathematics at Asian University for Women, where he taught courses including Calculus, Precalculus, and Fundamental Mathematics. His teaching philosophy emphasizes conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and active student engagement.
His current research focuses on mathematical modeling of wave dynamics and environmental systems, with particular interest in analytical and numerical approaches to coastal and aquatic phenomena.

Senior Fellow of Mathematics, Pathways and Foundations Program
Asian University for Women (AUW), Chattogram, Bangladesh
2025 – 2026
At AUW, he taught undergraduate-level mathematics courses including Introductory Calculus, Precalculus, Fundamental Mathematics, and Intermediate Mathematics. His responsibilities included course planning, lecture preparation, assessment development, student mentoring, curriculum development, and academic support.
My research interests lie in mathematical modeling and numerical simulation of fluid and environmental systems, with a particular focus on coastal hydrodynamics, tidal and internal wave dynamics, differential equations, and aquatic ecosystems. I am interested in developing analytical and computational models to investigate wave propagation, environmental variability, and water-quality dynamics, with applications to coastal ecosystem management and disaster risk reduction.
