United International University (UIU) arranged a Workshop on BAETE Accreditation for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Programs on 20 October 2023. Participants of this day-long workshop were Heads, Deans, and faculty members from different CSE programs, and professionals from CSE-related industries. The workshop aims to help participants develop a clear understanding of the accreditation criteria relevant to CSE programs. The main objective of this workshop was to enhance understanding of Outcome Based Education (OBE) practice in CSE programs. The Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE) and IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter (IEEE CS BDC) were the co-organizers of the program. Professor Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Additional Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), East West University (EWU), attended this event as one of the “Invited Speakers”.
