Professor Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza of East West University (EWU) has achieved a remarkable milestone by emerging as one of the most productive researchers in Bangladesh in 2025, according to data from the Scopus-indexed database.

In 2025 alone, Professor Wasif authored an impressive 86 Scopus-indexed research publications, securing the second position nationwide in terms of publication volume in Computer Science. This achievement places him among the top three most productive researchers in Bangladesh for the year, highlighting his exceptional contribution to scholarly research and innovation.

Professor Wasif currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and Engineering and is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at East West University. His consistent research output, leadership in academia, and dedication to mentoring young researchers have significantly contributed to the advancement of scientific knowledge both nationally and internationally.  Professor Wasif’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, research, and professional engagement has established him as a distinguished figure in the global scientific and engineering community.
