Prof. Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and Engineering at East West University (EWU), was invited as a Guest Speaker at a two-day International Conference titled “Shifting Towards a Sustainable World: Role of Life and Earth Sciences,” organized by the Faculty of Life and Earth Sciences, Jagannath University, held on December 18–19, 2025.

The conference brought together eminent scientists and researchers from leading universities, research institutions, and organizations from Bangladesh and abroad. The event aims to provide a vibrant platform for presenting and exchanging cutting-edge research, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and strengthening a scientific community dedicated to addressing pressing national and global challenges.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee and the Scientific Sub-Committee, Prof. Dr. Reza was cordially invited to deliver a lecture titled “Intelligent Life Sciences: Transforming Health and Disease Understanding through AI and Bioinformatics.” His presentation was featured in the Scientific Session under the sub-theme Genomics, Epigenomics and Bioinformatics, scheduled from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Day 1 (Thursday, December 18, 2025) at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Jagannath University.

Prof. Dr. Reza’s participation adds significant academic and intellectual value to the conference by highlighting the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and bioinformatics in advancing life sciences research and promoting sustainable and innovative healthcare solutions.
