The Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (NAME), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) organized a daylong workshop on 7 March 2023 titled “Outcome Based Education (KPA Mapping)”. Professor Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), East West University was invited to conduct the workshop as a "Guest Lecturer".  Prof. Wasif thoroughly discussed the key elements of Outcome Based Education (OBE), such as Program Outcomes (POs), Course Outcomes (COs), Knowledge Profiles (K), Complex Engineering Problems (P), and Activities (A) as well as Cognitive, Psychomotor, and Affective domains (Knowledge, Skill, and Attitude). Prof. Wasif also comprehensively demonstrates the necessary mappings of knowledge profiles, complex engineering problems, and complex engineering activities. Professor Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam, Head of the NAME Department, handed over the crest to the speaker.  All the faculty members of NAME attended the workshop.
