Shovon Talukder received a B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the East-West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2018. His thesis in his undergraduate degree was based on performance analysis of heterojunction thin-film solar cells. After that he was employed by a telecommunication company, Summit Communication limited as an Assistant Engineer. He went to the University of Ulsan, Ulsan, South Korea for M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in 2020 with a Graduate Research Assistantship. He completed his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from South Korea in February 2022. His M.Sc. research was based on designing and developing a noble micro fuse sensor with negative temperature coefficient-based tungsten oxide metal oxide.
He joined the Electrical and Electronic Department of Dhaka International University as a Lecturer in April 2022. He worked there for seven months and then in November 2022, he joined Southeast University as a lecturer in the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. During that time, he worked with unmorphed actuators and their thermal and electrical properties using Finite Element Method.
He gets appointed to the Department of EEE, East West University in February 2023. Now, he has been working there as a Faculty lecturer and also performing as a moderator of the IEEE EWU student branch, section 10.
He initiated MEMS Design and Modeling group (MDM Group) in July 2023. For More info visit the website. https://sites.google.com/view/mems-group/home
