Dr. Ratil H. Ashique is an accomplished Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. A dynamic researcher in renewable energy, smart grids, and power electronics, Dr. Ashique has dedicated his career to advancing sustainable technologies and nurturing future innovators.
With a Ph.D. from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and postdoctoral research at the prestigious University of Sheffield, UK, Dr. Ashique has made significant contributions to power converter design, electric vehicles, and energy management systems. He has led and collaborated on cutting-edge research projects funded by renowned organizations such as BANBEIS and the Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh.
A prolific author with over 30+ high-impact journal articles and conference papers, Dr. Ashique boasts a combined impact factor exceeding 100. His research has garnered international acclaim, reflected in an h-index of 17 and more than 1,175 citations.
Beyond research, Dr. Ashique is a Senior Member of IEEE, actively contributing to the global engineering community. He has mentored IEEE student branches, chaired technical sessions at international conferences, and served as a track co-chair for major events. His commitment to education is evident in his over 14 years of teaching experience, inspiring students to explore cutting-edge innovations in energy systems.
