Achievement Details

Professor Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), East West University, and his students have achieved outstanding success by winning two Best Paper Awards at the 2nd International Conference on Data Mining and Information Security (ICDMIS 2025). 

The award-winning papers are titled:

1. “An Enhanced CO₂ Emission Forecasting from Traffic Automobile for Sustainable Environment Using Machine Learning with Explainable AI”, and

2. “Enhanced Deep Learning Based Classification of Pathohistological Images for OSCC Diagnosis.”

The conference was held on 7–8 October 2025 at the University of Puthisastra, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, jointly organized by the Eminent College of Management & Technology (ECMT) and the University of Puthisastra.

The conference proceedings will be published in Springer’s Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (LNNS), underscoring the international recognition of their research contributions.

Professor Dr. Wasif expressed his pleasure over this achievement, noting that the awards reflect the students’ hard work, dedication, and commitment to research excellence. He also conveyed his pride in their accomplishments and wished them continued success in their academic and professional endeavors.
