Prof. Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and Engineering of East West University (EWU), delivered a keynote address at the International Conference on Intelligent Data Analysis and Applications (IDAA 2025), hosted by Daffodil International University (DIU).

Organized under the theme “Advancing Data-Driven Intelligence for Real-World Applications,” IDAA 2025 brought together leading researchers, academicians, and industry professionals from home and abroad. Prof. Dr. Reza’s keynote was delivered under the specialized track “AI and Health Informatics for Smarter Healthcare.”

In recognition of his distinguished contributions to computer science and interdisciplinary research spanning artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, and health informatics, Prof. Dr. Reza presented a keynote lecture titled “Transforming Health and Disease Understanding Through AI and Bioinformatics.” His talk highlighted the transformative role of AI-driven data analytics, machine learning, and bioinformatics in disease prediction, personalized medicine, early diagnosis, and evidence-based healthcare decision-making.

The keynote session, held on December 13, 2025, at the International Conference Hall, Knowledge Tower, DIU, drew strong engagement from participants and stimulated insightful discussions on the future of intelligent healthcare systems and real-world AI applications in life sciences.
