Healthy people and differently abled people aim for the goal together ‘Nagoya City Handy Marathon’

Noor Nahian, student of Department of Computer Science and Engineering participated in the 35th Nagoya City Handy Marathon in Nagoya, Japan on 14 October 2019. He got the chance represented Bangladesh as an athlete in the competition through Bangladesh Protibondhi Kollan Samiti and AJU , Nagoya ,Japan.


In this “Nagoya City Handy Marathon” organized for the healthy people and differently abled people with the aim of deepening exchanges regardless of age, nationality, and gender. In this marathon all athletes ran through a round of Hisaya-odori Park.

Noor Nahian got the 5th place from the ‘B’ group in the marathon. He received the prize from the Mr. Tomohiro Hattori, Manager of Disability Planning Section of Nagoya City, Japan.

After the event, he met with Mr. Toshihiro Umino, Director of Health and Welfare Bureau of Nagoya City, Japan, talked about the persons with disabilities and handed over the gift to him on behalf of Bangladesh.
