EWUTC Arranges “Entrepreneurship Summit 2018”
East West University Telecommunications Club (EWUTC) arranged “Entrepreneurship Summit 2018” on 2nd and 3rd July 2018. It was a two day-long event. For the first time, EWUTC organized such a summit that will enhance both knowledge of technology and business among students. There were grooming sessions and competitions on the business model. More than 15 universities (BUET, DU, NSU, UIU, BUTEX and more) participated in this event.
Judges and guests of the event were Didrik Strohm, Chief Operations Officer (COO), Ysi Global. Suman Saha, Country Director at YSI, Founder and President of Bangladesh Science Society, and Ashikur Rahman Rupok, a Youth Worker at Young Bangla. Mr. Didrik shared his experience of entrepreneurship and talked about how one should shape own’s business models and manage startups. After the inspiration session, a prize giving ceremony took place where Team Panda and Troops from East West University (EWU) were declared champions, Duo Blancos also from EWU, was judged to be as first runner-up, and Team Santa Banta from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) were chosed as the second runner-up.
Academic offerings include 95 majors, 86 minors, and more than 100 in-major specializations and more than 100 in-major specializations
