Ms. Zinat Farzana is an active teaching professional who is serving as a lecturer in the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh since April 30, 2019. She received her BSc (Hon’s) and MS degree from the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. She has intense interests in identifying different antibiotic resistant microorganisms from a variety of samples and exploring the antibiotic resistance mechanisms in these microbes which might lead to the development of new therapeutic agents and treatment options. Ms. Zinat Farzana has been awarded a research grant from the Center for Research and Training of East West University (EWUCRT) in 2020. She has published a number of research articles in different international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
