Anindita Paul is a Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics and Data Science at East West University, where she currently serves as Chair of the department. Her primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate mathematics and engineering mathematics courses, along with contributing to academic planning and departmental development.
Her research interests include applied mathematics, plasma physics, numerical analysis, and numerical modeling, with particular emphasis on coastal processes, storm surges, and related computational methods. She also works in the areas of supply chain management, inventory control theory, and computational optimization. She is interested in improving teaching practices and curriculum development in higher education.
She is a life member of the International Academy of Physical Science and the Mathematical Society of Bangladesh, and a proud alumnus of Jahangirnagar University and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
She previously served as Proctor of East West University and has long been involved in academic and extracurricular activities. She has organized several mathematics Olympiads, workshops, and academic programs, and established the East West University Science Club, where she served as its first moderator.
Outside her academic career, she enjoys painting and traveling.
