Dr. Md Mostofa Kamal Rasel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the East West University Dhaka, Bangladesh. Prior to his current position, he has served as a postdoctoral researcher at Kyung Hee University, South Korea.

Dr. Md Mostofa Kamal Rasel completed his bachelor degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh. He started his professional career as a software developer. However, he moved after two years to South Korea for pursuing a master degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the Kyung Hee University, South Korea. After receiving the master degree, he enrolled and achieved his Ph.D. degree from the same university. Dr. Md Mostofa Kamal Rasel has research interest in the area of graph mining, data compression, data management, recommendation system, and SQL script optimization. He published several research papers in peer-reviewed indexed journals with high impact factor. His research works were also accepted in several conferences and some of which were awarded as the best papers. Dr. Md Mostofa Kamal Rasel is one of the inventors of multiple techniques, which are registered as US and Korean patents.
