Dr. Hasan Mahmood Aminul Islam received Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Computer Science & Engineering from BUET (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology). He received Masters Degree in Networking and Services majoring in Distributed Systems and Data Communication, from the University of Helsinki, Finland (in 2013) where the Linux kernel was invented. As part of Master's thesis, he worked in the Nomadic Lab, L M Ericsson, Finland. He received the Doctor of Science in Technology (Dept. of CSE) from Aalto University School of Science and Technology (previous name: Helsinki University of Technology), Finland in 2018. Afterward, he started his industrial career as a Specialist System-on-Chip (SoC) software at Nokia headquarters in Finland. He completed Higher Secondary School Certificate in 2002 from Notre Dame College and Secondary School Certificate in 2000 from Motijheel Ideal School and College in Dhaka Board.
Disruption Tolerant ICN:
– Design and implement a protocol stack for disruption-tolerant ICN and Device-to-Device (D2D)
- Open Source CCNx and DTN2 reference implementation of CCN and DTN
- Implementation language: C
- Virtualization: VirtualBox
– Evaluate the above protocol stack using Opportunistic Network Emulator (ONE) Simulator
- Implementation Language: Java
- Result extraction using Python script and graph utility Gnuplot
