Dr. Md Hasanul Ferdaus is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at East West University since September 2022. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science (Cloud Computing) from the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University (Australia) in 2016, an M.Sc. Engg. degree in Information and Communication Technology from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany) and Politecnico di Torino (Italy) under the European Union-funded Erasmus Mundus scholarship program in 2009, and a B.Sc. Engg. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2004.
Dr. Ferdaus has seven years of teaching experience at Australian universities, including Monash University, Central Queensland University, Southern Cross University, Melbourne Institute of Technology, Victorian Institute of Technology, and Melbourne Polytechnic. Additionally, he has three years of teaching experience at East West University and American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).
Moreover, Dr. Ferdaus has five and a half years of research experience in Australia (CLOUDS Lab, Melbourne University, and Monash University) and Germany (Telematics Institute, KIT, and FZI Research Center for IT). Prior to this, he also worked as a Software Developer and System Analyst for 2 years in Australia and at Robi Axiata in Bangladesh.
His current research interests are focused on Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things, and Software Engineering.
