For the first time, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), East West University (EWU) is organizing a two-day long “CSE Career Fest 2018”. It is an event of Campus Recruitment and Industrial Attachment for the students and graduates of Computer Science and Engineering students of East West University. CSE Career Fest 2018 brings the employers, experienced professionals and the highly talented potential graduates on the same platform.

A number of renowned companies from the IT and software industry, like Brain station 23, Technohaven, Brac IT, Samsung R&D, E-generation, Summit Communications Ltd., Linux Pathshala, Ghoorni, Augmedix BD, Battery Low Interactive Limited, Selise, Creative IT, and Leads Corporation Limited are taking part in the CSE Career Fest 2018 with their recruitment panel.

On top of that, Human Resocia Co., Ltd. (Japan) is joining the CSE Career Fest 2018 at East West University to recruit the brilliant potential engineers from CSE Department on November 22, 2018. Apart from the interview session, Human Resocia Co. Ltd. (Japan) will conduct a seminar for the graduating students on On-Campus Direct Recruiting.

Besides on-campus recruitment, a round-table discussion will be taking place between the CSE faculty members and the members of the Industrial Advising Panel (IAP) of the CSE department to review the curriculum of B.Sc. in CSE program of East West University and provide feedback.

Some IAP members will join the participant companies in a career talk with 2nd and 3rd year students to guide them so that they can prepare themselves for the industry. The career talk Session will involve Industry, Academia, and Government. Mr. Abdullah Al Hasan Chowdhury, Additional Secretary, Secondary and Higher Education division, Ministry of Education will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.  Also, Mr. Habibullah N Karim, Founder and CEO, Technohaven Company Ltd., Raisul Kabir, Founder and CEO, Brainstation-23, Mr. S M Ashraful, Islam, Executive Vice Chairman, eGeneration Ltd., Mohammad Maksudur Rahman Bhuiyan, Additional Director, Information Management, Communication and Training Division, University Grants Commission, and Professor Dr. Fakrul Alam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, East West University, will be present on the occasion as Special Guests. This session will be chaired by Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, East West University.

The two-day Career Fest concludes with an industrial talk from the Alumni of the Department. Alumni speakers from Oracle Corporation Singapore Pte Ltd, Standard Bank Limited, EY LLP, Bengal Foundation, UpScaleThought, Asian Development Bank, GETCO and UNDP will take part in the industrial talk session.
