For the first time, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), East West University (EWU) organized a two-day long “CSE Career Fest 2018”. It is an event of Campus Recruitment and Industrial Attachment for the students and graduates of Computer Science and Engineering students of East West University. CSE Career Fest 2018 brings the employers, experienced professionals and the highly talented potential graduates on the same platform. 

The two-day Career Fest concluded with an industrial talk from the Alumni of the Department. Alumni speakers, namely, Mr. Asad Shaheen, Oracle Corporation Singapore Pte Ltd, Mr. Md.Abul Bashar, Standard Bank Limited, Mr. Rizvi Saleheen, EY LLP, Mr. Mahi Uddin, Bengal Foundation, Mr. Abdullah Al Mamun, UpScale Thought, Mr. Mohammad Sharif-Ul-Hassan, Asian Development Bank, Mr. Anissuzaman Russell, GETCO, and Mr. Sabbir Ahmed Nahid, UNDP, took part in the industrial talk session. The speakers exchange their practical experiences and thoughts on how to prepare for industry and also highlighted on cutting edge technologies, such as journey from data to big data, society for worldwide interbank financial telecommunication (SWIFT), SAP ERP Introduction, cyber security Bangladesh perspectives, and project management standard practice in software industry, respectively. This session was chaired by Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, East West University. Nearly 150 students attended the industrial talk session with utmost enthusiasm.
