Dr. Gurudas Mandal is a Professor of Physics in the Department of Mathematical & Physical Sciences at East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he has been a faculty member since 2003. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Pune, India, in the same year 2003. Dr. Mandal's research interests span atmospheric electricity, cosmology, and dusty plasma physics. He has published over 35 peer-reviewed papers in international journals and has reviewed numerous journal articles. Beyond his teaching and research, he has been serving the department as the chairperson, contributing to its academic growth and development.

Prof. Dr. Gurudas Mandal attended an international conference “International Conference on Recent Advances in Renewable Energy (RARE 2020)”, 7-9th February 2020, at NITK, Surathkal, India as a keynote speaker.
